You can talk to me - How about you?

Conversation can be a game, and playing can help you grow in your connections.
Play our communication games to communicate better in person!

What can you improve during the game?
Making contact, verbal communication, ending the conversation

Game rules

Seize any situation in the camp where you can communicate with others (e.g. giving directions or other information, asking for or offering help; talking while waiting in line for the restroom, connecting with people at the next table while eating, and similar situations). Take advantage of these opportunities and connect with those around you, even if only for a few sentences, or for engaging in a short conversation.

Try the game yourself!

How was your approach received by those you connected with? How did it feel like to experience these everyday situations, short-term connections?
Tell us in the comments at the bottom of the page!

What can you learn from this game?

Many people complain that they have no one to talk to, no place to talk to, no relationship to build. We encounter countless situations like this every day, but often we miss the opportunities. We can learn how to be more effective in noticing these situations so that we can take advantage of these opportunities. This way we will find ourselves in many situations where we can practice, step out of our comfort zone, or connect with others in everyday situations, hence we can improve, and experience the world around us as a more welcoming place where we can connect with others.

Do you want to improve? Keep playing, at other times, in other places, with other people!

In addition to the shorter, more casual conversations, invite your conversation partners to play the other games of the You Can Talk to Me initiative with you! Include activities that you can plan to do together during (or outside of) the camp (e.g. going to the cinema together, going to a concert together).
